CECA Molecular Sieves held a two-day training course in Kuala Lumpur on April 1st and 2nd with around 50 participants from most of the leading Natural Gas Processing companies in Asia. To make this a comprehensive technical course, in the spirit of the GPA (Gas Processors Association) Europe technical conference, not only did the course cover the use of molecular sieves in gas processing, troubleshooting and plant optimization, but suppliers of gas processing plants such as producers of complementary adsorbents to molecular sieves, valve manufacturers, gas liquid separation specialists and amine producers were also invited.
CECA took the opportunity of this meeting to launch its new Optisieve package of products and services which affords significant CAPEX and OPEX savings as well as continuous
follow-up of molecular sieve units. As Peter Meyer, dynamic applications manager, explained, “Optisieve includes not only high density molecular sieves, with high mechanical resistance and excellent adsorption kinetics, but also services for engineering companies designing new projects and for optimizing existing plants. The aim of the package is to enhance customer satisfaction by extending molecular sieve lifetime and addressing customer needs for monitoring adsorbent units more closely”.
