The FEBEX site in Bex Switzerland, specialized in the fabrication of highly pure phosphorus specialties (phosphoric acids, sodium hypophosphite, phosphonium salts), has just obtained the combined certification for the following standards:

ISO 14001 (environment)

OHSAS 18001 (Security).
Already working with a quality management system (ISO 9001) since 1994, FEBEX has today added 2 new tools to its active; that is to say a system’s management tool for the protection of the environment (ISO 14001) and a system’s management tool for occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001), all of which are entirely integrated into one system.
This combined certification, which restructures the system’s management for all the activities, is a result of the important work done to restructure all of FEBEX’s activities and to formalise the company’s policy to constantly produce high quality products that meet the highest demands for security and environmental protection.
This approach calls for a concerted effort from our collaborators who have engaged themselves, along with management, in the following areas: quality, security and the environment.
