CECA launches a webpage in Russian for easier access to information on its CECABASE® RT range of bitumen additives.

A genuine window onto the CIS, this tool will help CECA respond to enquiries from players in the road construction market, bearing testimony to the Company’s commitment to being part of the development of these countries’ infrastructures over the long term.
CECABASE® RT is a range of surfactant additives comprising over 50% renewable raw material. Mixed in with the bitumen, they help lower by around 40°C the application temperature of the bitumen mix without impairing its performance.
CECABASE® RT makes it possible to transport the bitumen blend over much greater distances from the mixing plant. The so-called « warm mix asphalt » technology also allows the road construction season to start earlier and finish later. These benefits can prove decisive in Eastern European countries, where geographic and climatic constraints are not to be underestimated.
With the CECABASE® RT range, CECA has succeeded in developing an additive which does not penalise the productivity of road construction sites, and requires no modification to bitumen mixing plants. These additives are proving to be particularly easy to process through simple mixing into the bitumen.
