CECA is expanding its Acticarbone® activated carbon range of services with its latest Cecasorb® shuttles specifically suited to liquid phase treatments. CECA can now supply its customers with activated carbon packaged in its Cecasorb® PLUG & PURIFY shuttles. These shuttles are mobile containers that can treat flow rates of up to 80m3/hr. « This concept can be used for both drinking water and waste water purification. With its fleet of shuttle containers, CECA can rent them out on a short-term or long-term basis (temporary projects, subsoil remediation, etc.), as well as respond to ad hoc requirements, for example when a treatment plant breaks down or contamination occurs », explains Nicola Russo, Head of Development for the Environment Market. A European leader in activated carbon, CECA offers innovative solutions for the environment.
· Activated carbon regeneration involves high temperature treatment which destroys the trapped organic pollutants, thereby freeing up the pores of the adsorbent and restoring the activated carbon’s initial effectiveness. CECA is a specialist in activated carbon regeneration, treating activated carbon in complete safety at its Italian plant based on its customers’ requirements. · Cecasorb® shuttle service: these are compact adsorbers that can be delivered speedily, and are easy to install and use. The principle of the shuttle consists in replacing without delay the containers and/or only the spent charges by units held in stock based on our customers’ requirements. We therefore recover the spent activated carbon and regenerate it – a cost-effective and responsible treatment solution. CECA, a subsidiary of the ARKEMA Group, is a world player in Specialty Chemicals. CECA constantly strives to improve its customers’ performance by creating and developing adsorbents, chemical intermediates, and additives.
